Short answer is NO. Non-member ticket options are available, and only $10 more than regular member rate while cost of active membership is $36.
Exception is if you are a student, as student membership is only $5 and necessary to receive student rate.
The day and a half conference consist of live, virtual speakers, with 8 in person host site throughout Ohio for attendees to gather in person and also virtual-only option for attendees.

Register online through the conference website. Registration deadline is Sep 12, 2026, NO EXCEPTIONS.
In person sites can fill up before the deadline. Capacity status for each in person location is updated every few days on the registration page HERE.
All requests for cancellations or refunds must be submitted in writing by September 10th, 2026. Refunds will not include the credit card processing fee.
OCRA is applying for CEIP and CE from NCRA and CE from AHIMA for this conference. The NCRA CEIP credit is only for attendees attending at any of the in person host sites. Virtual attendees will be eligible to earn regular CEs for NCRA.
8 hours CEIP/CE have been approved by NCRA, 4 of which qualify for Category A requirement.

If your NCRA CE cycles ends in Dec 2026, your 4-year CEIP cycle runs Jan 2025 to Dec 2028. This means you have until Dec 2028 to earn a total of 8 in-person credits. If you attended the in person OCRA conference in 2025, or the NCRA conference in 2025 or 2026, you have met your CEIP requirements.
If your NCRA CE cycle ends in Dec 2027, your 4-year CEIP cycle runs Jan 2026 to Dec 2029. This means you have until Dec 2029 to earn a total of 8 in-person credits. Due to the grandfathering option if you attended the in person 2025 OCRA conference, or the NCRA conference in 2025 or 2026, you have met your CEIP requirements.
Slide decks and handouts, if made available by speakers, will be made available electronically to all registered conference attendees approximately 1 week before the conference for those who wish to print or download them prior to the meeting. Instructions to access handouts will be sent via email.
We plan on recordings of the conference sessions to be available for re-watch after the conference, until Oct 31, 2026.
Thursday lunch will be provided at each of the in person host sites ONLY. Virtual attendees are responsible for their own meals.
Please complete the registration question regarding food sensitivities/allergies when registering as an in person attendee as that information will help each host site finalize food options.
Upon registration TWO automated emails are sent to the email provided during registration. One email is your registration confirmation, and includes all answers you provided on the registration form, including whether you selected a virtual only ticket or in person ticket and the host site location if you selected an in person ticket type.
The second email is a payment confirmation. Please check your spam / promotions folders if you did not receive the two confirmation emails.
No, given the multiple in person options scattered around Ohio and the virtual option, there are no designated conference hotels set up for this conference.
Please use websites such as Google Maps and travel websites to locate accommodations near the in person host sites if that is a need.
Special note: for the Westerville Ohio host site, there are 3 hotels within walking distance (Four Points by Sheraton, Hampton, and Fairfield Inn Marriott) and if you mentioned you are attending conference at Quest Conference Center you may receive a discount.
