Wow, how time flies. The 46th OCRA Annual meeting has come and gone and time to move onward with all the hustle and bustle with the new board of directors.
I just want to say THANK YOU to NECRA for putting on a super annual meeting, which was well attended by the members of OCRA. Hopefully, everyone had time to stop and chat with all 11 vendors; they all had something interesting to view.
At this time I do want to thank everyone who has volunteered to fill Liaison & Chairpersons on the Executive Board. Over the next year the executive board will be busy with some projects that need to be attended to. I want to welcome our new “WebMaster,” Ruth Li. Ruth is from OCISS, and she will keep the website updated with all information for the membership.
Our first Executive Board meeting is November 12, 2016, being held at Mt. Carmel. Thank you, Elayna Freese, for securing the meeting room. What happens at the board meetings is not a secret, and I encourage all OCRA members to attend any of the executive board meetings.
I am looking forward to an exciting 2 years as President, and with the help of the executive board we will conquer the changes one at a time by choosing positive avenues.
