Noble Richardson

Awarded annually at the state education meeting, the Noble Richardson Scholarship is given to eligible members of OCRA working towards improving their education in the cancer registry field. This can be to attend a workshop, continuing education events and/or online courses, college level course, or to cover the fees to sit for the ODS exam.

In 2024, per board decision this scholarship has been updated to be able to be utilized:

  • To attend a national/state/local cancer-related workshop/conference
  • To continue education in the cancer registry field through course work at a college or university.
  • To sit for the ODS exam.
  • To purchase NCRA-approved webinars or other education through www.cancerregistryeducation.org
